Zoom Guesser: Dragon Ball Close-Up Quiz

The closer you look, the harder it gets.

Zoom Guesser is a visual guessing game planned for DragonBallDLE. The concept is straightforward: the round begins with a tightly cropped detail — an eye, a glove, a piece of armor — and you must name the character. Asking for a wider view reveals more of the art but lowers the available score. It rewards attention to costume design, color palettes and the tiny details that make each fighter recognizable.

About this game

Zoom Guesser is a visual guessing game planned for DragonBallDLE. The concept is straightforward: the round begins with a tightly cropped detail — an eye, a glove, a piece of armor — and you must name the character. Asking for a wider view reveals more of the art but lowers the available score. It rewards attention to costume design, color palettes and the tiny details that make each fighter recognizable.

How to play

  1. 1

Study the initial close-up crop on the card.

  2. 2

Type or choose the character you believe the detail belongs to.

  3. 3

Request a wider reveal if you are stuck. Each clue reduces the round's maximum score.

  4. 4

Confirm your answer to see the full artwork and move to the next round.

Rules

  • The game is in development and is not playable yet.
  • Planned rules: limited reveals per round, one answer per round and a score penalty for each clue.
  • Artwork and character data will be served by the platform's own card system.
  • Rewards will be server-validated when the game launches.

Tips

Tip 1

Planned: focus on non-character-specific details such as scouters, earrings and armor trims.

Tip 2

Planned: consider the saga before the character — costume palettes changed heavily between arcs.

Tip 3

Planned: a confident guess beats a fully revealed low-score guess.
