How to play

Open the daily puzzle and type a Dragon Ball character name. Pick the matching suggestion to lock in a guess.

Compare the revealed row with the secret character. Green cells are exact matches, amber cells are close or directional hints, and red cells do not match.

Use the saga hint to decide whether the answer debuted earlier or later. Check affiliation to see if the character shares a faction.

Keep guessing until you find the character or run out of attempts. Each player gets one daily puzzle.
Rules
- Each daily puzzle allows eight guesses and is shared by every player until the 00:00 UTC reset.
- You cannot submit the same character twice in one round.
- Each player can complete the daily puzzle once per day; there is no practice replay.
- Logged-in players receive server-verified XP and Z-Coins once per completed session. Guest results stay on the device.

Is the Dragon Ball DLE answer the same for everyone?
Yes. The daily character is derived from the UTC date, so every player receives the same puzzle until midnight UTC. Each player can play it once per day.
Do I need an account to play Dragon Ball DLE?
No. You can play the daily puzzle as a guest. An account is only required to store results, claim Z-Coins and keep a streak across devices.
When does the daily puzzle reset?
The answer rotates at 00:00 UTC every day. Your remaining attempts and daily result are tied to that cycle.
Does Dragon Ball DLE include Dragon Ball Super characters?
The character pool spans Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, including transformations such as Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct.
